Spring Rituals for Wellness

This month, as we become empowered by information and awareness, we can take it to the workplace, and to school, and into our communities. Start small, by getting creative on your own. And then take it out into the world! Food is something we take in (for the most part) every day! It is no wonder food affects us so strongly. It affects the way our brain works, our heart, our liver, our spleen and kidneys. Food affects the way we sleep, the way we work. Food affects the way we feel. By choosing a life of nutritional wellness, not only are we choosing to prevent life-threatening diseases, we are also choosing:

  • Better sleep
  • Increased energy
  • Mental Health Benefits
  • A Stronger Immune System
  • Better Brain Function


Tips for ‘Going Further with Food’


Try bringing some delicious and nutritious meals into the office:

  • Try something new at home: Re-create the, “Beyond Tomato Soup” Recipe 
  • Research for wellness: Next time you are eating, try looking up each nutritional property of each ingredient in your meal. You will be blown away at all the ways in which food affects your body and mind.
